| Republic Edge Bombers, 7-6 | The South Carolina Bombers got a superb performance from first baseman Sam Ibarra, but the So Cal Republic still won the game, 7-6. Ibarra was named the player of the game despite the loss. He went 3-5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Pat Meskill got credit for the win, improving to 4-4. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings. The Republic own a robust 62-36 mark.
The game was at a stalemate until designated hitter Zeus Mayhem came to bat in the top of the 11th. Facing South Carolina pitcher Hariz Sahir, he hit a 1-0 slider for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting So Cal on top, 7-6.
"I like our resilience," said Mayhem.
