| Jostle Sensational for Blazers | Bloomington pitcher James Jostle did his part in helping his team beat the Las Vegas Aces, 2-1. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Shichiro Iba was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 12 of 14 save opportunities. The Blazers bumped their record to 51-47 with this latest triumph.
Jostle, who dominated for Bloomington, earned the victory to move to 11-6. He was in control the whole game, scattering 1 hit over 7 innings, while striking out 11. Las Vegas batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
Jostle told the Bloomington Chronicle: "Sometimes the big stage is not big enough for me."
