| Tornadoes Triumph in 2038 ABL World Series | The Kansas City Tornadoes were good enough to get past the Havana Stogies at The Humidor today and secure the 4th championship in franchise history.
"When you wear Tornadoes on your shirt, you're good at something," Kansas City skipper Fernando Vargas told the press.
Tornadoes third baseman Armando Galdos was named MVP of the series after he went .364 with 1 home run and 4 runs batted in.
"It feels totally incredible," Galdos said. "I could live to 1,000 years old and I'd remember this moment."
The new champions capped off a great season with a 1-0 victory over the Stogies to win the ABL World Series 4-1. |
