Almost There: Kansas City On Cusp of R4 Triumph After 4-0 Win

Fidel Castro pitched a gem to lead the Kansas City Tornadoes to a 4-0 victory over the Havana Stogies in Game 4 of the ABL World Series today. The right-handed Castro threw 7 innings of shutout ball in the win, which gave the Tornadoes a 3-1 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Castro allowed no earned runs on 3 hits over 7.1 innings for the Tornadoes. He walked 1 and struck out 2.

"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," Castro said.

The next game is scheduled for tomorrow at The Humidor in Havana. The scheduled starters for the game are Magyver McKenzie for the Kansas City Tornadoes and Levi Donahoo for the the Havana Stogies.
