Pivotal Game 5 Goes to Host Cacti, 5-4
The Albuquerque Cacti moved to within one game of the Round 3 today, downing the visiting Detroit Death Stars at Albuquerque Sports Stadium by a score of 5-4. Cacti left-hander Blake Orlando was named player of the game after a strong outing in which he threw 7 innings of 4-hit ball. The win gives the Cacti a 3-2 advantage in the best-of-7 Triple A World Series.

Keijiro Ishii aided the Albuquerque cause with a solo home run in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the first baseman was 1-4 with a home run.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Albuquerque manager John Greenwood.

Game 6 is set to be played Tuesday, November 2nd, 2038 at The Death Star in Detroit. Slated to start are Ken Stein for the Albuquerque Cacti and Juan Lucero for the the Detroit Death Stars.
