| Almost There: Havana On Cusp of R2 Triumph After 8-2 Win | Riding the 3-hit performance of right fielder Yeow-whye Jing, the Havana Stogies got a road win against the Tonga G.o.D., 8-2, in Game 4 of the Divisional Championship today. Jing went 3-5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Stogies, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 3 games to 1.
Bobby Savoy helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a run-scoring double to give Havana a 1-0 lead.
Jing called the win "a collective effort."
The next game is scheduled for tomorrow in Nukualofa. The scheduled starters for the game are Caiden Greenshield for the Havana Stogies and Salah bin Atif for the the Tonga G.o.D..
