| Texans Bang Out 6-3 Win Versus Vancouver | Behind a solid performance from shortstop Freddy Ramos, the Dallas Texans defeated the Vancouver Pioneers, 6-3. Ramos was 2-5 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Texans. Héctor Zúñiga converted his 8th save in 10 tries. Dallas is now 40-59, Vancouver 40-57.
Ramos contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Dallas in the top of the third. With his team trailing 1-0, Ramos took a cutter from Neil Coffin and stroked the home run to right. His 21st home run of the season allowed the Texans to leap in front, 3-1.
"In baseball, you have your ups and downs," said Vancouver manager Todd Belcher. "You just try to stay level-headed the whole time."
