| Raucous Waterfront Park Crowd Propels Beavers to 6-3 Victory; Series Tied at 1 | The Portland Beavers topped the Havana Stogies by the score of 6-3 and moved into a 1-1 tie in the League Pennant today. The largest share of the credit went to player of the game and Portland starter Félix Reina, who threw 6 innings of 3-hit ball in the win.
Reina gave Portland a solid start. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 3 hits over 6.1 innings.
Reina said the win provided a "big morale boost" for the team. "There's a good feeling in the clubhouse right now."
Game 3 is set to be played Monday, November 8th, 2038 at The Humidor in Havana. The scheduled starters for the game are Yoshiaki Kojima for Portland and Jorge Salazar for Havana.
