Sasquatch Even With Republic After Home Win

The Seattle Sasquatch and the So Cal Republic will take the Divisional Round to a decisive 7th game. In a must-win situation today, the Sasquatch beat the Republic 3-1 at Sick's Stadium to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Seattle right-hander Johnny Dickshot was named player of the game in the win after he threw 6 innings of shutout ball.

Dickshot delivered a quality start for Seattle. The 6' 8" right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit over 6 innings of work.

"Things broke our way today and that's great," Sasquatch manager Bob Miller said. "It's important, though, to stay focused and not pat yourself on the back too much. We aren't done yet."

Game 7 is scheduled for tomorrow at Sick's Stadium in Seattle. Slated to start are Masafumi Tamura for So Cal and Shuichi Imai for Seattle.
