Raucous House of the Republic Crowd Propels Republic to 5-0 Victory; Series Tied at 2

The So Cal Republic knotted up the Divisional Round at House of the Republic today, thanks in large part to starter Toshikasu Yoshida. Yoshida quieted the Seattle Sasquatch, enabling So Cal to grab the 5-0 win and move into a 2-2 tie in the best-of-7 series.

The Sasquatch had trouble solving Yoshida, who surrendered no earned runs on 3 hits over 6.2 innings.

"I liked his command," said So Cal manager Adrián Carne. "Toshikasu was throwing strikes."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at House of the Republic in Los Angeles. Slated to start are Dino De Buono for Seattle and Dan Garcia for So Cal.
