| Sasquatch Even With Republic After Walk-Off Win | So Cal catcher Drake Ramsey pounded Seattle pitchers at Sick's Stadium, but it was not enough to keep the Republic from losing in a walk-off. The Sasquatch fell 5-4 in Game 2 of the Divisional Round. Ramsey was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once and was named player of the game for his efforts, even as he saw the Republic slip into a 1-1 tie in the best-of-7 series.
Benito De Angelis was the walk-off hero for Seattle. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Sasquatch center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"We found a way to get it done," De Angelis said.
Game 3 is scheduled for Tuesday at House of the Republic in Los Angeles. The scheduled starters for the game are Johnny Dickshot for Seattle and Khurshid Durrani for So Cal.
