| Divisional Round Goes the Distance, Tonga Prevails | In an exciting Divisional Round that had its fair share of drama and intrigue, perhaps it is ADULT BASEBALL LEAGUE fans who have come out the winner.
But on the field, the winners were the Tonga G.o.D., who edged the Hawaii Islanders 4-3 to advance to the Divisional Championship.
Tonga won the final game by a 3-1 count to wrap up the series. Scott McFarland earned series MVP honors, by hitting .308 with a .357 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 3 runs.
The Tonga G.o.D. will play against the Havana Stogies in the next round. Havana had a bye in the Divisional Round. The Divisional Championship schedule will be announced after the Divisional Round finishes. |
