Raucous Aloha Stadium Crowd Propels Islanders to 9-4 Victory; Series Tied at 3

The Hawaii Islanders and the Tonga G.o.D. will take the Divisional Round to a decisive 7th game. In a must-win situation today, the Islanders beat the G.o.D. 9-4 at Aloha Stadium to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Hawaii right-hander Jason Keeping was named player of the game in the win after he threw 8 innings of 7-hit ball.

Manuel Guzmán aided the Hawaii cause with a 2-run double in the bottom of the third. For the game, the second baseman was 2 for 4 with 2 doubles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Keeping told the Hawaii Herald.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Aloha Stadium. The scheduled starters for the game are Toa Fotu Taurus for the Tonga G.o.D. and Cruz Miguel for the the Hawaii Islanders.
