| Varmits Win at Rosewell, 4-1 | The rain came, as predicted, but the Yuma Varmits and Rosewell Tribbles were able to complete their ballgame.
The Yuma Varmits got a strong performance from pitcher Jose Rosas, who stymied the Rosewell offense en route to a 4-1 win at Classified Field. Israel Garza was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 1 of 1 save opportunities.
Bobby Aceituno, who is tied for 8th in the TR with a .895 OPS, aided the Yuma cause with a solo home run in the top of the sixth. For the game, the left fielder was 1 for 4 with a home run.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Aceituno said.
