| Heaberlin Slugs Bombers to 5-3 Win | Panana City center fielder Danny Heaberlin made his presence felt in the 5-3 Bombers triumph over the Paradise Island Pirates. Heaberlin slugged 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Erik Kistler, credited with the save, is now 18 for 19 in save opportunities. The Bombers saw their record improve to 32-34.
Heaberlin had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a first pitch fastball from Jerry Cruz, he banged a solo home run to left-center, giving the Bombers a 4-3 lead. It was the 12th home run of the year for Heaberlin.
"I'm just happy to help the team win," Heaberlin told the Panana City Times.
