| Larvae Win at Normal, 4-1 | Larvae catcher Jorge Aragon put his stamp on his team's 4-1 win over the Normal Nutcrackers. Aragon went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for The Stinging in the contest. The Stinging reliever Edwin Galano picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Bill Cortez shouldered the loss. Tony Campos notched his 15th save in 16 chances.
The Larvae got a big at-bat from designated hitter Kyle Scheele. For the game, Scheele went 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave The Stinging a 2-0 lead.
