The Paradise Island Pirates topped the Normal Nutcrackers by the score of 7-3, with the biggest share of the credit going to catcher Carlos Figueroa. Figueroa was 3 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice for the Pirates on the day. The Pirates bumped their record to 35-28 with this latest triumph.

Figueroa had a big at-bat with a runner on 2nd in the top of the first inning, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Pirates went on to win.
