Totems Lose to Storm in Walk Off

The Wichita Storm downed the Victoria Totems, 6-5, at The Storm Center. The Storm were led by Adrian Herrera, who captured player of the game honors. He went 1 for 3 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3. The winner was Wichita reliever Ramon Gomez, now 1-2. The loser was Remon de Groot. At 28-36, the Storm find themselves in 4th place in the TMLR Otto Velez Division.

Gabe Richey had the critical at-bat for Wichita. With one out in the bottom of the 11th inning, he grounded out, driving in 1 run. It gave Wichita the 6-5 walk-off win.

"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Herrera said.
