| Victory Pushes Bombers Record to 30-29 | The Panana City Bombers beat the Montreal Cardinals, 6-4, at Denis Coderre Stadium. The win was largely due to the efforts of second baseman Jason Toler, who captured player of the game honors. He went 2-2 with 2 singles and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Erik Kistler converted his 16th save in 17 tries. Panana City is now 30-29, Montreal 33-26.
Andrew Withrow, who is tied for 6th in the TR in triples with 3, aided the Panana City cause with a run-scoring walk in the top of the eighth. For the game, the shortstop was 1-4 with a walk.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Toler told the Panana City Times.
