Nutcrackers Rally For Late Win Over Sabercats
The Normal Nutcrackers faced a tough opponent in Sedona pitcher Dustin Campeau, but did just enough to pull out the victory at The Lair at Sabercat Field by a final score of 5-3. Campeau went 6.2 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. Normal has an impressive 44-16 record.

The Nutcrackers got a big at-bat from shortstop Danny Escobar. For the game, Escobar went 2 for 5 with a double, while adding 2 RBI. In the top of the ninth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 10th double of the season gave Normal a 5-3 lead.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Escobar said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
