| Nutcrackers Win at Sedona, 5-3 | Normal Nutcrackers starter Javier Palos was in fine form against the Sedona Sabercats at The Lair at Sabercat Field, leading his team to a 5-3 win. Alfredo Velasquez converted his 3rd save in 4 tries. The Nutcrackers have an impressive 43-16 record.
It could have been a different outcome for Normal, had it not been for Sergio Garcia, the 22-year old right fielder . Garcia contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the sixth inning to put Normal up, 4-2.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Palos told the Normal Times.
