| Blazers Win at South Carolina, 4-3 | The Bloomington Blazers did just enough to secure a 4-3 victory over the South Carolina Bombers at Bomber Ballpark. Nobody did more than pitcher James Jostle, who captured player of the game honors. The Bombers drop to 3-6 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2038 season.
The Blazers got a big at-bat from shortstop David Kopacki. For the game, Kopacki went 1 for 4. In the top of the ninth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 6th hit of the season gave Bloomington a 4-3 lead.
"I felt good up there," said Kopacki. "I saw the ball well."
