| Storm Lose, 6-3, at Classified Field | Behind a solid performance from third baseman Bill Luthman, the Rosewell Tribbles defeated the Wichita Storm, 6-3. Luthman went 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Tribbles. Steve Georgiadis got the win, improving to 7-4. He pitched 5.1 innings, giving up 6 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 5 and walking 3. Mark Head converted his 3rd save in 3 tries.
A crucial at-bat came with runners on 1st and 2nd and one out in the bottom of the fourth inning. That's when catcher Francisco Zuniga got hit by a pitch. The Tribbles went on to win.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Zuniga told the Rosewell Today.
The 5th-place Tribbles have won 4 consecutive games.
