| Hamblin Hits 2 home runs in Tribbles Win | The Rosewell Tribbles beat the Wichita Storm, 5-2, at Classified Field. The win was largely due to the efforts of first baseman Nick Hamblin, who captured player of the game honors. He slugged 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Rosewell starter Leo Molina was credited with the win after throwing 103 pitches over 8 innings. His record now stands at 5-4. Mark Head notched his 2nd save in 2 chances.
Hamblin had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 3rd in the bottom of the third inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Tribbles went on to win.
"It's good to win," Hamblin told the Rosewell Today. "I like to have fun doing it."
The losing streak for Wichita has now reached 4 games.
