| Victory Pushes Grays Record to 59-37 | It was a good time at The Death Star, where fans came to watch the Mile High Mustangs and Georgia Grays get after it.
The Georgia Grays topped the Mile High Mustangs by the score of 8-3, with the largest share of the credit going to left fielder German Salazar. Salazar was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Grays. Frank Ramos, credited with the win, is now 1-0. He allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 5 innings.
The Grays got a big at-bat from shortstop Luiz Lopez. For the game, Lopez went 1 for 3 with a walk. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 72nd hit of the season gave Georgia a 2-1 lead.
"I just try to go out and give it 100 percent every game," Salazar told a local reporter after the game. "That's my mantra, and like today, it will pay off more often than not."
