| Bombers Stymie St. Paul, Take 3-1 Win | The rain at Donald J. Trump Presidential Stadium did not keep Panana City and St. Paul from finishing their game.
The St. Paul Grognards went down to defeat to Jorge Villegas and his Panana City teammates. The final score was 3-1 in favor of the Bombers. Getting the save was Erik Kistler, his 15th.
Had Jon Escobar not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Escobar hit a 2-run home run. That made the score 2-1, in favor of the Bombers.
"Anything I can do to help the team win," said Escobar.
Panana City's record now stands at 29-28, placing them 4th in the TMLR Fred McGriff Division.
