| Larvae Need Extra Frames to Get Past Storm | The Wichita Storm got a sterling performance from pitcher Omar Diaz, but the Larvae still prevailed, 6-4. Diaz was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He threw 8 innings of 4-hit ball. Tony Campos, credited with the win, is now 2-2. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. The Larvae bumped their record to 29-26 with this latest triumph.
Jose Carrero had a nice at-bat for the Larvae with no one out in the top of the 11th. With runners on 1st and 2nd, the pinch hitter drew a walk, which would prove important in the The Stinging win.
