| Multi-HR Day for Matsumoto as Sasquatch Overpower Texans, 4-1 | Seattle and Dallas duked it out at Metroplex Park and the Sasquatch came out victorious.
The Seattle Sasquatch topped the Dallas Texans by the score of 4-1, with the largest share of the credit going to catcher Kiyoji Matsumoto. Matsumoto was 3-4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for the Sasquatch. Kanichi Kaneshiro, credited with the win, is now 4-5. He allowed 1 run on 5 hits in 7 innings.
Matsumoto had a key at-bat for Seattle early in the game. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 26th home run of the season and gave Seattle an early 2-0 lead.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Matsumoto said.
The Sasquatch bumped their record to 59-37 with this latest triumph.
