| Grays Throttle Mustangs, 5-0 | Georgia Grays starter Stone Carlton was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Mile High Mustangs, 5-0. Joe Kearns earned his 26th save in 31 chances. The Grays have an impressive 58-37 record.
A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the bottom of the seventh, with the game tied, Gerard Vivian was at the plate when Georgia scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Grays to go in front, 1-0.
"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Georgia manager Ánibal Machado.
