| Marauders Solve Blazers, 5-2 | Maple starter Eddie Taveras pitched effectively against the Bloomington Blazers at Legends Park. The right-hander led his team to a 5-2 win. Taveras went 5 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 0, and struck out 11. His record improves to 7-7. The Marauders bumped their record to 48-47 with this latest triumph.
Ryan Agee had a big run-scoring single for the Marauders in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Maple leading 2-1 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from Joey Steamer and stroked the single to right. It was his 89th hit of the season, and more importantly, it put the Marauders ahead, 3-1.
