| Nutcrackers Lose, 4-1, at The Range | Yuma and Normal duked it out at The Range and the Varmits came out victorious.
The Yuma Varmits got a strong performance from pitcher Jose Rosas, who stymied the Normal offense en route to a 4-1 win at The Range. Mark Keitz closed the door for Yuma, picking up his 4th save of the year.
Josh Dalton helped out the Yuma cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a 2-run single. For the game, the right fielder was 2-3 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI.
"I thought we played a nice game," Rosas told the Yuma Chronicle. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
The Varmits now have a record of 18-26.
