| Sabercats Prevail, 6-5, Over Paradise Island | In a tight contest at Predator Park, the Sedona Sabercats edged the Paradise Island Pirates by the score of 6-5. Sedona shortstop David Feliciano, who blasted 1 home run, was named the player of the game. The 5th-place Sabercats raised their record to 17-24.
Feliciano had a key at-bat for Sedona early in the game. With runners on 1st and 3rd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and gave Sedona an early 3-0 lead.
"I'm proud of the boys for pulling through," said Sabercats manager Jack Hall. "The wins don't come easy for this team, but everyone's got an extra jump in their step after a game like this."
