| Sedona Shuts Out Seawolves, Fairchild Winner | Dan Fairchild held the Erie Seawolves to 2 hits and fashioned a fine 4-0 shutout at The Lair at Sabercat Field today.
Speaking after the game, Sedona Sabercats manager Jack Hall said "Fairchild had everything going for him today."
He changed speeds effectively, stayed down, had a lot of movement," he said. "He was masterful."
Fairchild rung up 9 strikeouts and surrendered 1 walk in the game.
"We couldn't get anything going. He certainly had our number," Erie manager Josh Zeh told reporters.
Looking at his season stats, Fairchild has won 4 and lost 4, collecting 62 strikeouts and 13 walks in 61 innings with a 2.80 ERA. |
