Bombers Continue Skid Thanks to Alvarez, Storm

The Wichita Storm beat the Panana City Bombers, 8-2, at The Storm Center. The Storm got a fine performance from third baseman Eddie Alvarez, who captured player of the game honors. He slugged 2 home runs, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3. Gabe Richey was the winner. Over 9 innings, he allowed 2 runs on 4 hits, with 4 walks and 7 strikeouts. Jayden Parchman had a big run-scoring triple for the Storm in the bottom of the third inning.
