| Galindo Fashions Shutout Against Seawolves | All went well for Octavio Galindo of the Victoria Totems as he pitched his team to a 2-0 shutout victory over the Erie Seawolves, limiting them to 1 hit. In the postgame interview, both managers had glowing things to say about Galindo on the day.
"Octavio's got a good selection of pitches he can throw at a guy," said Totems manager Keiji Jouon. "He changes speed, gives different looks to different hitters. When he's on his game, he's quite a handful."
In the contest, the Victoria right-hander rang up 6 and surrendered 3 walks.
"He didn't give us any second chances," said Seawolves manager Josh Zeh. "It's a guessing game with him and today we were always guessing wrong."
In 7 starts this season, Galindo has recorded 4 wins and absorbed 2 losses. He has pitched 47.1 innings, allowed 42 hits, struck out 42 and has a 2.85 ERA. |
