| Totems Win at Erie, 6-2 | Victoria Totems starter Cesar Concepcion kept the Erie Seawolves hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 6-2 win. The winning pitcher was Concepcion, now 4-1. He tossed 6 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 10. Victoria has now reeled off 6 straight wins.
In the top of the 6th, first baseman Miguel Diaz gave Victoria the lead when he hit a 2-run double. The Totems had been trailing 2-1, but the two-out double off Erie pitcher Antonio Flores changed that -- and Victoria went on to win.
"Getting ahead of the hitters was the key," said Concepcion.
