| Seawolves Come Back Late to Top Cardinals | The Erie Seawolves faced a tough opponent in Montreal pitcher Tyler Eichelberger, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Denis Coderre Stadium by a final score of 4-2. Eichelberger went 7.1 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. The win was Roberto Lobos's in relief. His record improves to 1-2. Tyler Eichelberger took the loss for Montreal. Even with the win, the Seawolves have a dismal 10-24 record.
Had Marcos Amable not delivered a key base hit in the top of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Amable hit a 2-run double. That made the score 4-2, in favor of the Seawolves.
"We made a couple of mistakes," said Montreal skipper Carlos Lora, "and it cost us."
