| Cardinals Continue Hot Start to Season With Win | Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the Montreal Cardinals got the win.
Mike Juarez left his imprint on the 3-2 Montreal win against the Erie Seawolves. Juarez, who is tied for 3rd in the TR in triples with 3, went 2-2 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The Cardinals, now 23-10, know that wins in July count the same as wins in September.
Jorge Flores aided the Montreal cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the third baseman went 1 for 4.
