| Duke Tosses Shutout for Yuma | Josh Duke dominated the The Stinging Larvae with a brilliant 5-hit shutout in a Yuma Varmits 1-0 triumph at The Range. The Yuma hurler fanned 3 and walked 3 in the game and was singled out for praise afterward by the opposing manager.
"He really kept us in check today," Larvae skipper Kazunari Ueda said in his postgame comments. "Everything looked to be moving. Seemed like the pitch was right down the middle and it went over down and away. We took some pathetic swings."
