Yuma right-hander Hidehiro Yamamoto pitched his team to victory over the Paradise Island Pirates at Predator Park. The final score was 6-2. Even with the win, the Varmits have a dismal 9-18 record.

Troy Mills, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2038 draft, aided the Yuma cause with a bases-clearing double in the top of the seventh. For the game, the shortstop went 1-3 with a double and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.
