| Villegas, Bombers Get 2-1 Win | Jorge Villegas was superb against Montreal. The right-hander had a slider that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a 2-1 Bombers victory. Panana City has now won 3 straight, while the Cardinals have lost 3 in a row.
Villegas, who dominated for Panana City, earned the victory to move to 2-0. He was in control the whole game, scattering 3 hits over 6.1 innings, while striking out 13. Montreal batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
