Larvae Top Storm Behind Cargill, 2-1

The rain could not dampen the enthusiasm of The Stinging fans at The Queen.

The The Stinging Larvae defeated the Wichita Storm, 2-1, in TMLR action at The Queen, with The Stinging pitcher Josh Cargill named player of the game. Tony Campos earned save number 7.

Cargill scattered 4 hits over 7.1 innings for the Larvae. With the win, Cargill goes to 4-1 on the year with 47 strikeouts.

Cargill said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.

The Larvae bumped their record to 14-8 with this latest triumph.
