| Seawolves Get Past Panana City for 2-1 Win | Erie Seawolves starter Carlos Baerga was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Panana City Bombers, 2-1. The winning pitcher was Baerga, now 1-3. He tossed 7 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 7. Francisco Morado was called on to finish, recording his 1st save.
Erie used the bat of Greg Jordan to get the win. The third baseman hammered a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Seawolves ahead, 2-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it did its damage.
"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Jordan.
Even with the win, the Seawolves have a dismal 4-18 record.
