| Bombers Stay Hot, Beat Varmits | The Panana City Bombers defeated the Yuma Varmits, 4-3. Earning player of the game honors was third baseman Jonathon Perry, who was 3-4 with a triple and a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Tris Griffin, who went 5.2 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 2 runs on 4 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 2. His record now stands at 2-1. The Varmits fall to 5-9 and continue their unimpressive start to the 2038 season.
The game turned with one out in the top of the fourth when Perry, who is tied for 2nd in the TR in triples with 1, hit a 2-run triple. It propelled the Bombers into the lead, 2-0.
