| Nutcrackers Stymie Yuma, Take 4-0 Win | The Nutcrackers faced a stiff challenge from Yuma pitcher Kevin Shea, but persevered to claim a win at The Nutcracker Suite. The final score was 4-0. Shea went 8 innings and allowed 4 earned runs. The Varmits fall to 5-6 and continue their wobbly start to the 2038 season.
The Nutcrackers got a big at-bat from right fielder Pablo Beltran. For the game, Beltran was 1-4 with a double. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 2nd double of the season gave Normal a 1-0 lead.
