| Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Varmits | Yuma right-hander Mark Keitz made an effective start against the Erie Seawolves at The Range, leading his team to a 4-3 win. Every game is important, even these early ones, if the Varmits hope to make a postseason run.
Yuma won the game in the bottom of the 11th inning. With no outs and Roberto Lobos on the mound for Erie, pinch hitter Rich Stewart hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Varmits fans to their feet.
"I'm just happy to help the team win," Stewart told the Yuma Chronicle.
