White Fires No-Hitter Against Erie

Scott White was just plain nasty on the mound today, overpowering the Erie Seawolves in a complete game no-hitter.

The left-hander used his signature changeup to perfection as the Victoria Totems waltzed to a 12-0 win.

"He was what the kids call 'filthy,'" losing manager Josh Zeh said later.

In a dominant performance, White faced 28 batters in all and finished the game with 13 strikeouts and 1 walk.

"After the first couple of innings, I knew I had some good stuff going," White said. "In the bullpen, it really wasn't that good, to be honest. But when I got out on the mound and flipped the switch, I had some pretty good stuff."\n
