Angel Escalera, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Aberdeen won. The shortstop was 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Aberdeen reliever Jose Gonzales picked up the win, bumping his record to 1-1. Tom LeGrand was collared with the loss. Aberdeen is now 30-38, while Barbados is 50-18.
