Blazers Get Past South Carolina for 4-3 Win

The Bloomington Blazers faced a tough opponent in South Carolina pitcher Phil Taylor, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Arson Arena by a final score of 4-3. Taylor went 7 innings and allowed 1 earned run. The Blazers bumped their record to 48-44 with this latest triumph.

Willie Curry was the walk-off hero for Bloomington. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Blazers pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Curry.
