| Rangers Prevail, 4-2, Over Scottsdale | Despite a great performance by Scottsdale center fielder Jose Villarreal, the Rockville Rangers defeated the Scorpions by the score of 4-2 at Scottsdale Stadium. Villarreal was 3 for 4 with a triple and 2 singles. The Rangers own a robust 52-18 mark.
The Rangers got a big at-bat from third baseman Leo Mora. For the game, Mora was 1-5 with a triple. In the top of the fifth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring triple. His 3rd triple of the season gave Rockville a 3-2 lead.
